My first poetry collection, The Alchemy of Blood, will be released on March 7, 2026. I work primarily as a psychologist providing psychotherapy. Although I find that work informs my writing, so does everything else. We are in a transpersonal web of experience and consciousness - at least that's how I think my poetry drops in. I've been writing poetry for about 15 years, but more recently, likely due to the pressures we all feel. Psychology is a second career (or 3rd). I'm 63 and previously worked as a writer/director/producer/editor in film and TV, primarily in independent films and television sketch comedy. Thirty-five years of that fully used up its steam (and mine). I thoroughly enjoy my current work, and the writing it supports. I am also a musician, friend, husband, father, and grandfather (but still youthful, I think). I'm located in the Pasadena area of California. My self-pub site is below.
