Mimi German is Oregon's first Beat Poet Laureate (2023-2025). Her 2nd book, Where Grasses Bend, was just released by EyePublishEwe. Beneath the Gravel Weight of Stars, her first book of poetry, came out in 2022. She resides in Portland, OR and in the wilderness of Steens Mountain in Oregon.
