Work of Words
Max is a retired pipefitter who resumed writing poetry after a career in the petrochemical industry. He strives to use poetry to express concerns regarding issues that deal with social justice, environmental consequences of our resource and land use, and the need for a global community to deal with them. He is a member and involved with not only the Edmonton Stroll of Poets (vice president) but also Parkland Poets, The Ontario Poetry Society, Cultivating Voices Live Poetry, and Green Mountain Writers. As well as having his poems contained in numerous anthologies, he has also published three collections of his poetry: Igaunas of El Ray, Fair Play, and Work of Words.
